Scruffy von McScruff

Hi all! I'm Scruffy McScruff and I'm Westside's newest stowaway. I'm not a shepherd but I charmed my way onto the 'shepherd-freedom-van' anyway. The volunteer's van was so full, some crates had 2 dogs in them. She made me promise I will be a good shot-gun rider (no crates left) and that I was! I lay down on the front seat and didn't move a muscle till we got to LA! Ok, so I'm fibbing, I did keep creeping over to the volunteer's side to rest my paws and head in her lap. She tried to put me back on the other seat but somehow I kept ending up in her lap. She finally gave up... (giggle) .. and I fell asleep half way in her lap with her petting me all the way. I love my people. My story? Well, I have been in a home since I was a puppy. My owners house trained me, I had 2 little human "siblings", 2 yrs and 4 yrs old. And there was also a cat in the home, so I'm a pretty well rounded pup! I am almost 9 months old and weigh around 40 pounds - so I won't be a huge adult, maybe 50 pounds, give or take a few. Sadly my family moved and didn't take me with them. The shelter thinks I'm a lab mix but I think I have some other great breeds in me. I love to play, I love to give kisses and I take treats so gently from your hand. If you're looking for an amazing new companion on the smaller side, and/or your dog needs a play buddy, I'm your boy! Please come meet me soon!
